Can you provide tips or share experiences on a good detox/cleanse?
I am at a healthy weight, I diet and exercise regularly, drink one cup of green tea every morning and eat plenty of fiber. I am looking for recommendations to detox and cleanse internally, and if I shed a few pounds doing it, I expect to put it back on quickly. Any tips, recommendations and experiences are greatly appreciated!

After a detoxification program, you can cleanse your body daily through diet, supplements and lifestyle practices.
1. Eat plenty of fiber, including brown rice and organically-grown fresh fruits and vegetables. Great detoxifying foods are cabbage,broccoli, spirulina, chlorella, beets, radishes and seweed.

Are there any side effects?
There are some possible side effects when detoxing. Some dont suffer at all. I remember my first detox where I suffered with headaches for two days. I was extremely tired and suffered severe body aches and pains. But once I got through those days I was fine. The first three or four days are the worst. But hang in as it does get better and you will be so proud of yourself. As I was suffering severely with Candida and also had two small children to take care of, I can say it was not easy but I was determined to go through it.

After Detox
My first detox I did for approximately 6 weeks. In a perfect world I would have continued to live the same lifestyle I did for the 6 weeks. A home body detox program should take 28 days. It should be done in such a way that symptoms from the detoxification are kept to a minimum. After all, who is going to want to maintain a diet and program to cleanse the body if it makes you feel worse than before you started.
Do not just jump right into a home body detox program. Due to the high levels of processed foods, carbohydrates and caffeine that most people intake jumping right in can cause serious side effects as you go through withdrawal from these substances. It is best if you start several weeks earlier and begin lowering your intake of these substances until you no longer crave them. This will make it easier for your body to handle the home body detox program safely. It also makes the side effects of a home body detox program significantly milder making it easier to maintain and easier to live life even while you are going through the detoxification process.
There are some other things to consider as well to make sure that your home body detox program is both successful and contains the least amount of issues when it comes to side effects.
